Ancestors of Sarah Ann Davies

Sarah Ann Davies was born 1864 in Wednesbury (West Bromwich) Staffordshire; and died Jul-Sep 1932 in Middlesbrough, YKS, age 67. She was the daughter of Joseph Davies and Ann Bach (Back or Bacque). She married John Henry Jarvis in Jan - Mar 1885 at St James, Wednesbury, STAFFS⁵

Between 1886 and 1898, John Henry and Sarah moved their family from STAFFS to Middlesbrough, YKS, where John Henry was a Steel roller in 1901 living on Gough Street.

i. Lucy Matilda Jarvis, born 1885 in West Bromwich, STAFFS; Christening: 14 Aug 1885, Christchurch, W Bromwich, STAFFS . In 1901 living in Middlesbrough, YKS.

ii. Herbert Jarvis, christened. 26 Aug 1886 in West Bromwich, STAFFS.

iii. John Henry "Jack" Jarvis II, born Jul - Sep 1898 in Middlesbrough, YKS⁶

iv. Jane Jarvis, born 24 Nov 1900 in Middlesbrough, YKS; died Apr 1997 in Slough, Bucks; married (1) Arthur Westgarth Simpson ; married (2) Ernest E Jones 1960 in Princes Risborough, BUCKS.

Joseph Davies, born Oct-Dec1845 in Wolverhampton, STAFFS He married Ann Bach in Jan-Mar 1860 in Wolverhampton. She was the daughter of Richard BACH and Hannah ?,  christened 20 Aug 1845 in Kerry, Montgomeryshire, WALES. They moved from Wolverhampton to Wednesbury between 1860 and 1864. They lived there until at least 1871.

Richard Bach, born about 1810. He was the son of ? Bach and Elisabeth ?(born c.1781 and living in 1841). He married Hannah ? (born c. 1813, died Kerry 1870) 1841-1843 and they lived in Newtown, Montgomeryshire (now Powys), WALES

i. Richard Bach II, Born 1844 christened 31 Jan 1844 in Kerry, Montgomeryshire, WALES¹

ii. Ann Bach Born Kerry 1845 Christened 20 August 1845 in Kerry, Montgomeryshire, WALES. She married Joseph Davies in Wolverhampton in 1860⁴ and died after 1864 in West Bromwich, STAFFS

iii Elizabeth born 1848 in Kerry⁶

iv Ellin born 1850 in Newtown ⁶(11 months old in the 1851 census)

 

? Bach, Back or Bacque was born in c 1780. He married Elizabeth ?. She was born c 1781 and died after 1841

iii. John born 1812-1816. He married Susannah JAMES⁶ at St Michael Kerry 1846 ( She was born 1822). They had two children, Susannah 1847 and Ann 1849.in Newtown.

iv. Elizabeth born c 1821 married Thomas Edmunds or David Webster at St Michael, Kerry in 1846
