The Book of Common Prayer and Hymnal Companion

This is set of books that started my genealogical research. I was given care of it by my Grandmother, Kate Emma (Drake) Wright when I turned 21. The signature of Harriett Emma Quantrell, my great grandmother, is on the back page of both books.

The two books are bound in dark purple leather, embossed with a cross and with a gold motif on front cover. The books fit into a carrying case 3.7" x 2.3" x 1.4" with a strap of the same leather for carrying. The page ends are gold leafed.
